SURCULUS FLOOR LAMP
Surculus Floor Lamp in patinated bronze with hand-laid Japanese hosho paper lampshade. Surculus translates as “Branch, Shoot, Sprout,..” from Latin. The abstract bronze sculpture winds its way toward the sky like a growing branch and reaches beyond the delicate Japanese paper shade like a tender shoot growing towards the light.

Founded in 2010 by Anne Jacquemin Sablon, the gallery specializes in contemporary furniture and decorative arts and favors noble materials, strong lines and French manufacturing by excellent craftsmen. In 2014, the gallery moved into a former fashion boutique from the 1920s, located between the Palais-Royal and the Louvre.
