Description
MASK LAMP
A master in the art of playing with volumes, Charlotte Besson-Oberlin’s 2024 Masque lamp in cotton paper and patinated bronze contrasts with its presence and lightness. The paper is cut and twisted to create an antropomorphic image, like a pareidolia. This luminous mask changes appearance even more when lit, revealing its geometry and superimpositions. The tactile tenderness of paper and the cool softness of metal combine to make this lamp a unique sensitive sculpture. Each mask is cut and folded by hand by the artist. Therefore each piece is unique.
Mask Lamp is a dimmable luminaire
