Description
Designed for the Paquebot France in 1961, Maxime Old’s Hélice coffee table takes up the dynamic motif of the ship’s propeller. Subjected to the constraints of furnishing a transatlantic liner, he proposed a table that was light but firmly anchored to the floor. The sober, modern materials reinforce a particularly minimalist line, characteristic of the turn taken by Maxime Old in the 1960s.
