Pétiole Pedestal Table
The Pétiole Pedestal Table, part of the eponymous collection, is inspired by the natural principle of the petiole: the slender stem that connects the leaf to the branch. With this collection, Alexandre Labruyère has developed a series of objects of great finesse and fluidity in Hauts-de-France oak. This pedestal table, created in 2022, refers directly to plant inspiration and explores notions of lightness and balance. Particular attention is paid to the base, which is steam-bent to push the wood to the limits of its elasticity.
The Pétiole Pedestal Table joined the Mobilier National collections in 2023.
