GREEN ARCHITECTURA
Immersion in colour is the main element of the Architectura series. The use of large-format canvas allows for the juxtaposition of large-scale coloured glazes (in this case, more than forty layers), giving the composition greater depth as well as effects of transparency and light. In the manner of Rothko, the painter offers an immersive, contemplative experience that should evoke deep, intense feelings in the viewer. He tackles the spiritual question by depicting a building that is intended to be religious, a solid structure from which emanates a warmth.
