Nicolas Desbons is a locksmith and sculptor. His work is based on locksmithing (cold metal work, assembly by welding or screwing), however he also uses ironwork (forge work, when his creations require it). Combining traditional techniques, he nevertheless seeks to innovate and diverts codes to invent a new aesthetic. In order to enrich his pieces, he does not hesitate to marry materials and introduces fiberglass, glass, and ceramic, to metal.
