Description
Maxime Old’s Desk Y, designed in 1970, is the culmination of many years of research by the designer into a functional desk with radical lines. This particularly modernist design is based on Y-shaped legs that support and cross the entire desk top, making it appear almost suspended. Conceived as an architect’s desk, it has two concealed drawers, while the spaces reserved in the top can be used to store rulers and plans. The leather-covered top adds to the contrast of materials with the wood and metal.
