Pierre Rémi

Graduating as valedictorian from the Saint Martins School of Arts in London, Pierre-Rémi Chauveau is a contemporary furniture designer who lives and works near Lyon.

Deeply influenced by his childhood in Africa, he believes that a piece of furniture should tell a story.

His role as furniture manager for a renowned group allowed him to deepen his knowledge of craftsmanship and the arts, and to build strong collaborative relationships.

In 2013, he founded Pierre-Rémi Studio with a triple ambition: to continue creating, to pursue rich collaborations filled with discoveries by working with talented artisans, and to deliver unique furniture to clients seeking pieces that resonate with them artistically.

Pierre-Rémi focuses on revealing, in each piece he creates, a harmony between softness, movement, and storytelling. His work on curves is not merely aesthetic: they carry an emotion and embody a quest for balance in proportions and materials. This meticulous and deeply personal search gives his creations an organic dimension that invites the user into an intuitive and poetic experience.

His encounter with the Mobilier National in 2019 at the Révélation Fair in Paris marked the pinnacle of a collaboration that has lasted for several years, with today around ten of his pieces integrated into their collections, such as the Ajour lamp and the Alcôve console, freshly completed in the ARC workshops.
