Marc Lepilleur

Born in 1968 in Switzerland, Marc Lepilleur is a sculptor graduated from the European Center for Research and Training in Glass Arts (CERFAV) having trained in mechanical engineering in Paris then in plastic arts in Rennes. Very quickly, he devoted himself to the art of glass and more precisely to molded glass while creating his first workshop. This artist expresses his feelings through the different materials he uses by transforming them into a mixture of colors, lights and volumes.

Each of his sculptures bears witness to a double message: to make us dream but also to question the artistic field, Nature or even the meaning of life. Thus, his work is inspired by the surrounding Nature, the elements that make us up and the principles of physics. In 2005, his work earned him the Honorary Prize from the Jetta Cuny Foundation in Germany as well as the Sculpture Prize from the city of Cholet in 2010. Due to his extensive and in-depth research on various subjects such as the body, the spirit and emptiness, the works of Marc Lepilleur are acquired by numerous collectors around the world (United States, Portugal, India, United Kingdom, Taiwan, etc.).
