Hugo Falaise

Born in Brittany in 1996, Hugo Falaise is a French artist who lives and works in Paris.

Trained at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Nantes, he quickly applied his degree to the fields of fashion scenography, retail, and event design in Paris, developing expertise in conceptualization and staging. Passionate about craftsmanship and textiles, he founded his studio in 2020 while continuing to work alongside artist Jeremy Maxwell Wintrebert, where he honed his attention to detail and deepened his interest in materials and artisanal techniques. In 2024, Hugo established his own workshop to dedicate himself fully to creating his pieces.

In each of his creations, Hugo uses fabric as a canvas, exploring both traditional and experimental embroidery techniques. Inspired by deconstructivist and surrealist movements, his designs are both geometric and organic. Each piece is handcrafted and embroidered, using fabrics sourced from surplus stock of the French manufacturer Toiles de Mayenne to create unique patchworks. In addition to his collections, Hugo also designs and produces bespoke projects.

For Paris Design Week, French artist and designer Hugo Falaise presents the Karregek furniture collection. These unique, hand-embroidered pieces, produced in France, establish a dialogue between organic and mineral lines and the fabrics of the French manufacturer Toiles de Mayenne.
