Fabienne Delli Zotti, born in 1967 in Luxembourg, paints sculptures or sculpts paintings.
She graduated from the Art School in Luxembourg and studied dance in Chicago. She has lived and worked in Paris for 20 years and exhibited in Paris and Cannes and at the New York Art Expo in 2011.
The mixture of sand, marble powder, and natural pigments is used to create her works, the landscapes in bas-relief. The artist superimposes natural pigments mixed in subtle shades that make subtle shades of organic colors like shadows that quiver between eternity and the moment, and the canvas becomes a vertical sculpture.
The artist’s abstract construction suggests stacking her own emotions, memory traces embedded in the mineral like a fossil.
