Charlotte Besson-Oberlin

Her experience and taste for simple, pure designs were honed by Charlotte Besson-Oberlin at the Christian Liaigre Design Studio, where she worked for 11 years on projects across the globe. Initially working as an interior architect, she later became head of furniture design. From these years, she has retained a commitment to precision, a love for noble materials, a focus on flawless finishes, and a constant search for the best design for each client.

Charlotte Besson-Oberlin created dix9mai to add her own personality to this precious expertise, offering designs with clean lines subtly infused with unexpected touches to ensure spaces never feel static.

She supports her clients—whether professionals or individuals—in their pursuit of beauty and elegance. With passion and enthusiasm, she designs interior architecture as well as bespoke furniture and accessories that complete their projects and make them unique.

From a private villa in St. Barthélemy, to the Nutchel Cabins in Belgium and France, or the Mûn restaurant in Paris (in collaboration with Eve von Romberg), these diverse projects share a common foundation: inspired and inspiring clients, whose real or imagined vision serves as the starting point for creative reflection, resulting in truly remarkable projects.

Charlotte Besson-Oberlin is a graduate of ESAG-Penninghen.
