Bruno Chavanne

When he was a very young child Bruno Chavanne met with the painter Christo, the Bulgarian renegade who was started out in Paris, as a talented portrait amateur painter in order to survive. That might have incited him to be a painter.

Just like the rediscovery of the work from an ancestor disappeared prematurely? The concealed desire to exist entirely on day as an artist was certainly inside him before he realized that.

He attends drawing classes and theater scenography at the New York Art student League. In the mean time, he also trains himself to become an economiste. It’s in Vassar college in the theater framework that he designs and realizes his first decorations. Afterward, he participates in the assembly of various plays of Broadway.

Back in France, he spends a lot of time at the Montparnasse academy and workshops of the Paris city and he develops his pictorial creations.

Awarded since his beginning by the French art community, he is showed regularly his work in France and abroad. Successively and repeatedly, the gallery Nikki Maquart Paris, the gallery brown the Glise Paris and livart offered him their walls.

His work appears in numerous private collections and in big institutions of which the National Art Collection of Contemporary Art.
