Producer of hand-blown glass objects, Atelier George brings together artistry and design. Eve George & Laurent Fichot, designers and glassblowers, work hand in hand from the first sketch to the final product. Every object made by
the Atelier is unique and non-reproducible.
They sketch and produce their objects together, each in turn adding or subtracting elements until they are able to strike the perfect balance, the image of both their identities. This continuous search for the perfect form is the brand’s signature. Shaping glass hand in hand, making ideas come to life.
In June 2018, Eve George was awarded the Prix de la Jeune Création des Métiers d’Art, a French national prize for young craftspeople, selected for their artistic and technical skills. Following a residency at the Villa Albertine in 2023, she presented her Solaire suspension at Design Miami in an exhibition co-organised by the Mobilier National and the Villa Albertine.
