Description
Console Érosion
Interested in the movement of pebbles along the Channel coast and the inconstancy of their shape as they travel, Alexandre Labruyère transcribes their movement with his Erosion console from the eponymous series. He reveals the essence of oak or ash in this piece by stressing lines to translate the effects of time on the wood. The designer reveals the unique character of the material by working it according to its grain, producing a sculptural object that is anchored to the ground like a cliff.
